Coral Gables has a new place to tour Seventeen Gables before the building tops out. BAM Developers and Ascendra Capital opened a sales gallery at 120 Aragon Avenue, giving buyers a walk-through of the eight-story, 117-residence condominium rising at 1715 Douglas Road.

Asprea Studio, led by Karen Asprea, designed both the residences and the gallery. The showroom mixes New York-leaning finishes with Coral Gables Mediterranean cues: warm materials, a detailed building model, a full-scale kitchen mockup, and curated displays of architecture, interiors, and finishes. Construction started in April 2026, so the gallery opens while vertical work is already underway rather than as a pre-groundbreaking teaser.

Homes include one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts priced from the mid-$600,000s, a scarce new-construction band for Coral Gables. At eight stories, Seventeen Gables is positioned as the tallest building in East Gables, with views framed from the neighborhood tree canopy out to the Miami skyline. Delivery is targeted for the first quarter of 2028.

Amenity plans cover a fitness center, sauna, resort-style pool, resident lounge, co-working space, assigned parking, and ground-floor retail. The Douglas Road and 17th Street location sits within walking distance of Miracle Mile and is a short hop to Brickell, Downtown, and Miami International Airport. Cervera Real Estate holds exclusive sales and marketing.

BAM founder and CEO Mayer Berkovits framed the gallery as the next proof point after the April start of construction. Ascendra Capital partner and CIO David Steinberg tied the opening to a strategy of advancing the project with certainty while buyers can still tour a finished sales environment. Jesse Ottley, president of development sales at Cervera, positioned the product against a market heavy on ultra-luxury launches, arguing Seventeen Gables pairs design and location with an attainable entry point.
